About Us​

Art Decade was founded by film director Benjamin Fischermann, a Danish documentary filmmaker and alumnus of the British National Film and Television School. He also holds a degree from the Danish School of Media and Journalism. Benjamin has worked both independently and within the documentary department of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR). His debut documentary, Krigen der splittede min familie / My War-Torn Family, was released and broadcast on DR1 and DR2, as well as SVT, Sweden’s national television station.

In addition to documentary filmmaking, Benjamin has collaborated with major commercial clients, bringing his storytelling expertise to high-end advertising and branded content. He has worked on and continues to develop projects funded by the Danish Film Institute, further cementing his role in Denmark’s documentary and film landscape.
